The Venue is an independently owned and operated Bar, Restaurant and Function Suite complex on the Fylde Coast in Thornton-Cleveleys.

Proud of our independent heritage we seek local suppliers and select the freshest local ingredients and aim to provide a welcoming environment for all.

Meet The Team

Jakki Slack

Owner & Director

Jakki is our sole-owner and Director. She has a active role within the day to day running of The Venue.

Tomas Walsh

General Manager

  • Mail

Tom has responsibility for the day to day running of The Venue and oversees the front and back of house operations.

Mark Hennessy

  • Mail

Mark is responsible for all our Weddings and events along with our bar operations.

Hannah Boocock


  • Mail

Hannah has responsibility for our Restaurant operations and runs our booking systems.

Matthew Smith
Head Chef

  • Mail

Mat overseas the running of our kitchens and is the source of many of the recipies used today.

Markus Stephens

Assistant Manager

  • Mail

Markus looks after our bar operations and also assists with the running of events.

Jordan Schofield
Assistant Manager

  • Mail

Jordan assists with the day-to-day operations of The Venue.

Ross Wilson
Second Chef

Ross assists with the day to day running of our busy kitchens.

John Lucas

Second Chef

John assists with the day to day running of our busy kitchens.

Sam Gallager


Sam is our Restaurant Supervisor and supervises the day to day restaurant operations.

Ben Reeve


Ben is our Spirit Supervisor and supervises events in our Spirit Function Suite.

Leigh Clarke


Leigh supervises our events team in our Mezzaluna Function Suite.
